PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Dailey Consultancy offers project control services to companies in the Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, Nuclear, Construction and the Data Industry. Clients have included both local and global multi-disciplined companies in the UK, Europe and USA.
Programme – EMEA Data Centres, Dublin (IE), Netherlands, Multi Billion Dollar Programme.
Design scheduling at programme level across all EMEA sites for a Global Confidential Client. Supplied a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to lead and support a team of planners through the construction and commissioning of data centres. Set up on boarding training courseware and carried out training in the Amsterdam office.
Project – Filler Replacement & Lyo Loading, Nijmegen, Netherlands
Replacement of the Filler and vial handling equipment to support Biologics drug production strategy and ensure the GMP compliant filling capability at Nijmegen. Included full lifecycle, commissioning, qualification and user training.
Project – Special Tablet Facility, Shut Down, Macclesfield, UK
The upgrade of the Special Tablet Facility in Macclesfield (API is Tamoxifen, Nolvadex). The project included the replacement of HVAC, vacuum transfer and purified water systems, refurbishment of ancillary building services, steam, condensate and LTHW supplies. The project has improved compliance with both GMP and SHE standards.
Project – Separation Area Ventilation (SAV) Major Project, Cumbria, UK
Project intervention to review this major project as it was in distress, with a substantial time and cost variance and a multi-million pound change control to be agreed with the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority. Defined the key success factors and assigned the improvement actions. This was outlined in the PMP which received a best practice observation.
Project – Decommissioning Forecast Reviews, Warrington, UK
Schedule and cost assurance reviews of projects up to the value of £600 million as part of a specialist review team. Developed the assurance process, involving 3 clear steps; trigger analysis (using QSRA), focussed interviewing and post analysis.
Project – Small & Medium Test Rigs, Chorley, UK
Design, Build and Operations of Small and Medium Scale Test Rigs. Requirement was to underpin the performance of Pulse Jet Mixers to be used for the mobilisation of FGMSP sludge within the SPP1 Buffer Storage Vessels. Project was successfully accelerated to allow for 2 years of trials within a constrained funding limit.
Project – Bespoke Project Control Training, Charlotte, USA
Facilitated a 5 day interactive training course on Earned Value Management and project controls at a test facility in Charlotte, North Carolina. Content included project management concepts, interactive exercises (Schedule build, CPM Baseline, EVA, Action Planning) and reporting. The training enabled the client to incorporate Project Control within their operating model and improve team competency.
Project – Heysham 1 Vault Emptying Project, Gloucester, UK
The Project included waste retrievals, de-plant and decontamination phases for the Heysham 1 site. Developed an integrated control programme and cost estimate.
Project – Low level Waste repository (LLWR) Drigg, Cumbria, UK
Main deliverable was the construction of a fully operational Low Level Radioactive Waste Disposal complete with all beneath cell engineering works. Responsible for the planning, cost control and management of a small team (3 resources) through detail design phase.
Project – London Luton Airport, Luton, UK
The construction of a new terminal building, apron parallel taxiway and associated works to increase passenger throughput from 1 to 5 million (per annum).
