Use your Highway Code to study the rules of the road, test yourself using software developed by the DVSA (available in high street bookstores/online) or use various resources on the internet.

Hazard Perception refers to your ability to react and cope with everyday situations on the road. You must demonstrate alertness and be prepared to respond. Your awareness improves as you gain experience of driving but this section of your theory test helps to ensure that you are careful from the start.
