Connor is a beautiful original 67 bug, he oozes class and grabs attention everywhere we take him. His blue & cream leather interior compliments his paintwork. Whitewall tyres and gleaming chrome accessories add to his classic appeal.
Gems & Livi are 15 window split-screen Safari campervans. They have both just undergone a complete nut & bolt, bare metal respray restoration. They have the Deluxe chrome trim, whitewall tyres and front opening safari windows
Gems is from 1969 and Livi 1974, they are identical in every way and the only way we can tell them apart is by their “reg” plates! They have been sprayed in classic VW original colours, white over Lotus white. Although absolutely stunning splittys, the colours were chosen to ensure they do not outshine the VIPs, but instead compliment their special event.
Both Gems & Livi have double side opening doors which make for fantastic photoshoots and show off their beautiful “L” shaped white leather interior. The shape of the interior ensures that all VIPs are in easy focus for all photographs and also ensure that no passenger is travelling in a rear facing position. The corner seat incorporates a built in Champagne bucket and glass holders. They both have a vintage style, metal framed, wooden slatted roof rack that can be accessorised for every occasion. The front opening safari windows allow memorable photo opportunities, especially for the bride & groom.
The vans have been left at their original ride height. This ensures a more comfortable ride and also ensures that passengers do not have to be asked to vacate the vans every time the chauffeur encounters a speed bump! This really did happen to our son-in-law and his entourage on the way to our eldest daughter’s wedding when travelling in a lowered split-screen campervan. Not ideal when they were all wearing kilts and it was a very windy day!
All 3 of our vehicles are named after our children and they are as proud as punch (although they won’t admit it) but do moan that we care more about our vehicles than we do of them! (no comment)
