I am a fully qualified teacher. I have had approximately 30 years experience of teaching English, chemistry, science and Maths.  This has included helping pupils to prepare for the SATs tests. I have worked with children and adults on a one to one basis and in groups and fully understand the needs of both. 

I have had extensive experience teaching in schools and am therefore familiar with the requirements of the National Curriculum Key Stages 1,2 3 and 4.

I also have a vast array of resources and past exam papers and can also create resources that are tailor made for a specific pupil.

I enjoy working creatively and will tailor learning to the particular interests of the pupil if necessary as I feel that this makes the work more interesting and meaningful for them. I have established excellent relationships with pupils in the past and have a sensitive, caring and thoughtful approach.

In the first session I carry out an assessment in order to get an idea of the needs of the pupil and use this as a trial session. Pupils don't have to continue unless they are happy with everything.
