We are a small, family-run business working in the West Dorset area, within a 30-mile radius of Bridport. The business was established over 50 years ago by William John Copp, my wife's grandfather. It was then handed down to his son Roy Copp - my father-in-law - who I worked with for over 20 years. During that time, I gained experience in all aspects of the building trade. I took over from him in 2000 following his retirement.

The current team comprises myself, Andy Way - trained in stone work and general building work - and my son Dale, who has worked for the business since leaving school and is a carpenter by trade. He learned his trade at Yeovil college but is well experienced in all other trades. My other son has just joined us after working as a contractor and groundworker but is looking forward to learning all aspects of the building trade. My wife Kyle has the task of the bookkeeping and keeping us all in order.

We pride ourselves on attaining a high standard, with the majority of our work being by word of mouth and repeat business, and have built up a good reputation in the local area. This has played a massive part in keeping this family-run business going for so long.

We deliver a professional and friendly service from start to finish with a workforce of sub-contractors, all of whom are locally based and trustworthy, ensuring peace of mind for our customers. Where possible, we use local suppliers and always strive to maintain and improve our high standards of workmanship.
