The Mendips, with its breathtaking countryside and clean beaches is just on our doorstep, as are Cheddar and Wookey Hole caves.
Weston-super-Mare is only a few miles away and home to a host of attractions to interest and engage visitors of all ages. The Grand Pier is open all year round and packed with rides, amusement arcades, shops, restaurants and features a fully licensed bar.
There's plenty of fun places to go with the family, including the Hutton Moor Leisure Centre (which has a 25m pool and separate kids' and 'splash attack' pool, and a wide range of fitness and spa facilities), the Noah's Ark Zoo Farm and the Weston SeaQuarium to name just a few.
Guests with an interest in aviation will find plenty to discover at The Helicopter Museum (the largest of its kind), which features no less than 80 aircraft, interactive exhibits, flight simulators and a dedicated film theatre. The museum also regularly hosts special events.
The historic city of Bristol and beautiful Georgian city of Bath are within an hours' drive. A visit to Wells Cathedral and the mythical town of Glastonbury offer a pleasant and relaxing day out.
