Professional and efficient skip hire services for customers in Halesowen, Dudley, Brierley Hill and the surrounding areas.
SD Waste has a full range of skips in varying sizes, meaning we can facilitate your waste management and provide both a reliable and professional service.
We have:
Midi Skips
These skips are ideal for small scale home improvement projects such as a bathroom refit or could come in handy during a house clearance or garden project. Alternatively, if you are short of space, a midi skip could be the ideal solution.
Builders Skips
By far the most popular skip, the builders skip is ideal for all waste types. Larger projects benefit from builders skips and these containers are capable of holding heavier waste such as soil, bricks and hard core.
Maxi Skips
Not to be used for heavy waste such as bricks and soil, the maxi skip is intended for light waste which is large in both size and volume.
Roll On Roll Off Hard Core/Soil/Aggregate
This skip is perfect for trade and domestic customers who are amidst a sizeable project. However, we do ask that you take into consideration the size and weight of the skip when selecting its drop off point.
Roll On Roll Off General Waste
Our 40 cubic yard skip is appropriate for light or bulky waste; we find it is often the container of choice for our commercial customers.
Road Permits and Points for Consideration
If the skip is not to be placed on your property, please tell us when you call as you will need to have the land owner’s permission. Skips to be placed upon council property may require a permit from your local authority. We will arrange the permit but are not responsible for paying the flat rate handling charge. The fee can be from £5 to £50 depending on the council where the skip is headed.
Please note that it is your responsibility to ensure that the contents do not exceed the top of the skip, also referred to as the level fill line. The license of our driver will be at risk if they remove an overfilled skip. The driver will make all attempts to secure the load with heavy-duty netting but, on the occasion the load cannot be secured, they will have to unload the skip until it meets our requirements.
As you are probably aware, empty skips are heavy and full skips are very heavy. You will need to consider the surface where the skip is to be dropped prior to calling us. If you require surface protection, please inform us upon booking your skip. You may choose to ask the driver’s advice on their arrival as they will be carrying equipment which is ideal for the protection of certain surfaces, such as printed concrete and lawns.
When your skip is delivered, it will be placed in a position where it can be collected safely and with ease. Please do not move the skip once it has been delivered. No matter what the circumstances may be, moving a skip is hazardous to your health and may compromise our ability to collect the skip once it is full.
If you are based in The Midlands and have questions regarding any of our skips or our procedure, please do not hesitate to contact SD Waste.
