Useful info

Theory and Hazard Perception Test

You will need to study to pass the Theory and Hazard Perception Test. The Theory Test comprises 50 multiple-choice questions with a minimum pass mark of 43.

The Hazard Perception Test

This part of the test requires you to view 14 video clips on a computer screen. You are required to watch these clips as if you were the driver. There will be 15 hazards to find - at least one on each clip. However, one clip will have 2 hazards. The pass mark for this test is 44 out of 75

Practical Driving Test

The Driving Test lasts about 40 minutes and it is up to the Test Examiner on which roads this takes place, but it may include town driving to dual carriageways.

Also included will be one manoeuvre, this could be either a bay park, parallel park, corner reverse or a turn in the road. Don't be daunted by this, as I will ensure that you are fully prepared for whichever driving manoeuvre the Test Examiner chooses.

There is a section of independent driving which is in two parts. For the first part, you will be given directions to follow. In the second part, you will be asked to follow signs. Once these are completed, you will be directed back to the test centre. Once parked in the car park, you will be given the result of your test.
