Corporate Social Responsibility Policy

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is the concept whereby organisations integrate social and environmental concerns into their business operations and into their interaction with their stakeholders on a voluntary basis. Radius is fully committed to the principle of CSR and intends that CSR should become embedded, where appropriate, into its policies and practices, to the benefit of staff as well as the wider community.

The strategic aim of the company is as follows;

Community Involvement – Members of staff are encouraged to become part of the local community. Our services encourage safety and our customers value our services. We feel we contribute to the local area by being a successful business which employs considerable personnel. We actively promote our licensed venues and assist wherever possible in promoting the nationally recognised ‘’Best Bar None” scheme and have a partnership approach to working with the local authorities. From our part, we ensure the members of staff are trained to the venue's processes and procedures, and that they are aware of the need for them to show a duty of care to all consumers and also to the local environment.

Charitable functions – Radius is actively involved with both national and local charities and regularly contributes to cancer charities as well as sponsoring a local boys' boxing club and contributing towards supporting the local community.
