With the small footprint of an industrial counterbalanced lift truck and the telescopic boom of a telescopic handler, the JCB Teletruk benefits from a fully enclosed hydrostatic drive system with a hydraulic quick-disconnect carriage for a shovel or range of forks.

This small, versatile counterbalanced lift truck has capacity bands between 2.5t – 3.5t capacity. Diesel-powered two-wheel drive or four-wheel-drive models are available, as are gas models. There is no vertical mast in front of the cab and the machine comes with Free Lift as standard.

Requiring 50% less loading space, a Teletruk only needs to load a lorry from one side, leaving the other 50% free for other use. By employing single-side loading, management of yard space and on-site safety can be improved.

Operators benefit from forward reach from one side of the lorry trailer, negating the need to turn 90° round the blind corners of a delivery vehicle. If said delivery vehicle is parked on the kerbside, there is also no need to access the road to unload.

When single side loading is employed on a yard which is limited for space, the Teletruk eliminates the requirement for slip on fork extenders or hydraulic pantograph extenders. One-way traffic flows can be created on congested sites using the Teletruk as it frees up operational space with single-side loading rather than dealing with narrow walkways which don’t allow conventional machines to work on both sides. Where demountable “tilt” bodies can be vulnerable to damage, the Teletruk can reach loads over the raised edge lip and lower down, without any need for pushing or pulling.

The machine’s telescopic boom action facilitates increased efficiency of standard ITA Class attachments (when combined with 111 degrees of carriage rotation) including the prompt change from forks to shovel.

The hydrostatic drive transmission is fully enclosed, meaning no components are exposed to the harsh effects of sand or mud. With a maximum 3.5 tonne capacity and 2100 kg at 2m forwards reach, the Teletruk has a remarkably big load capacity considering its small footprint, and is the perfect machine for reaching forwards. Operators can change from a fork to a shovel in less than 20 seconds without leaving the cab* (3 minutes if you use manual disconnect).

Get more done in one day with just one machine and experience greater efficiency with this unique Teletruk.

*Operator enclosures conform to international ROPS/FOPS regulations.

The versatile range of attachments which is available for the Teletruk offers greater flexibility. At the same time, the hydraulic boom control offers precise power-up and power-down whilst the operator remains in full control of the fork’s carriage through III degrees.

Forwards visibility and reach simplifies the accurate loading of trucks and utility vehicles, whilst ensuring that no damage to the doors or bodywork is sustained. The hydraulic JCB Changezee quick-disconnect system is entirely unique. The machine is condensed, lightweight - yet hardy - and features fully-integrated hydraulic services.

Safety-Interlocked Operation

Accidental disconnection is impossible when operating the Teletruk as one hand depresses the spring switch to divert the sideshift service to the locking ram whilst the other hand operates the service button on the main lever.

An alternative manual quick disconnection service is available if preferred and this method is generally used to switch between forks and a trapdoor bagging shovel. Manual changeover usually takes around 3 minutes.

The machine offers excellent forwards visibility with the fork in the loading position and also when the boom is fully retracted and lowered. A protective cab screen guard is also included as standard.

Boom

The boom is fitted with hose burst check valves, self-levelling forks and facilitates 111 degrees carriage rotation. The machine features Power Lift and lower ‘extend and retract’ functionalities for complete control. The Changezee option is available.

Transmission

The Teletruk features fully enclosed, hydrostatic, JCB TCR torque converter response transmission with a choice between two and four wheel drive. A range of traction control options are also available.

Operator Enclosure

The ergonomically-designed cab conforms to ROPS and FOPS whilst offering excellent operator visibility. There are 1 rear and 2 front work lights included as standard. All diesel models are equipped with a fuel gauge.

Engine/Hydraulics

This Teletruk comes with either a diesel or an LPG engine. Daily operator checks can be performed from a single location. There is standard and high flow hydraulics available to ensure optimum attachment performance and a choice of 4 or 5 spool hydraulic functions.

Manoeuvrability

The compact design of the Teletruk offers an excellent turning radius. Able to demonstrate excellent aisle stacking in the yard, the truck offers a choice of standard and low operator enclosures and includes a full free lift as standard.
