Exploit the latest telehandler technology and the innovative design of the JCB 9mtr telehandler from JCB. If you want high torque and power output, low fuel consumption and reduced noise, this is the machine for you. What’s more, you can be sure of minimal maintenance and total reliability.
At 2.36m wide, 2.49 high and weighing in at 8020kg, the Loadall Agri, Agri Plus and Agri Super variants all have a maximum lift height of 9.5m and maximum payload of 3500kg. Each machine complies fully with stability test EN 1459 Annex B.
When it comes to lift performance, the machines have a maximum lift capacity of 3500kg, lift capacity to full height of 1600kg and lift capacity at full reach of 500kg. The lift height of each vehicle is 9.50m and the reach at maximum lift height is 2.43m. Each machine has a maximum forward reach of 6.52m and reach with 1 tonne load of 5.08m. The placing height is as high as 8.78m.
The Agri/ Agri Plus models are equipped with JCB powershift transmission - including torque converter, bevel box and a 4 speed powershift gearbox – all within a single mounted unit. Upon the combined steering column you will find a mounted switch combining directional control with 4 forward and 4 reverse powershift gears. Both models benefit from a travel speed of 20mph and permanent 4 wheel drive.
Take it up a step with the Agri Super model which features JCB 6 speed transmission, complete with torque converter, a bevel box and a 6 speed powershift gearbox (TorqueLock in 5th and 6th gear included) in one mounted unit. This high specification model has 3 operating modes: Eco, Power and Field and boasts a top travel speed of 25mph with transmission kick down.
You can choose between 2/4 wheel drive and the joint steering column mounted switch enables directional control whilst the 6 forward and 4 reverse powershift gears offer auto-selection between 4th and 6th gear in Eco and 3rd – 6th gear in Power mode. The front and rear drive axles are JCB epicyclic hub reduction drive/steer axles with Max-Trac torque proportioning differentials.
The oil immersed, servo-assisted hydraulically activated and self-adjusting service brakes are of in-board multi-disc type on front axle. The oil-immersed disc type parking brake is a hand operated disc brake on output of gearbox.
The high tensile steel boom features low maintenance, hard wearing pads and the JCB Q-fit self-levelling carriage (featuring lever operated pin locking) is compatible with pallet forks and a wide range of attachments. A one boom end auxiliary hydraulic service is fitted as standard. Safety check valves are fitted to the carriage tilt, telescopic and boom lift rams.
These telehandlers are fitted with a 12v negative earth, 95 AH battery, 95 amp alternator and equipped with full road lighting, a reversing light and direction indicators. A hazard warning light and reverse alarm is also included.
A ride within the deluxe cab is quiet, safe and comfortable. The cab itself conforms to ROPS ISO 3471 and FOPS ISO 3449. With panoramic tinted glass and a laminated front and roof screen, the operator benefits from maximum visibility. Working in all weathers is simple with the JCB 9mtr telehandler range as each machine includes roof bars, front, rear and roof screen wash/wipers and a heater with screen demister. The opening rear window can also offer a breath of fresh air.
The built-in audio-visual warning system alerts the operator of the coolant temperature, water in fuel, engine oil pressure, air cleaner, battery charge, transmission oil temperature and the pressure. On the dashboard are an hourmeter and road speed indicator, engine temperature indicator, fuel gauge and a clock.
Upon the adjustable steer column (complete with stalk bar powershift change) there is the forward reverse shuttle. The throttle and brake pedal are floor mounted beneath the adjustable deluxe suspension seat with adjacent park brake.
An automated eye-level audio-visual load moment indicator warning system receives a signal from a load sensor on the rear axle which is constantly monitored to indicate the machine’s forward stability, ensuring the operator is in control at all times.
Each of the Agri/Plus and Super models features hydraulic controls and a cab mounted single lever servo joystick, incorporating forward/neutral/reverse. All variants also have transmission disconnect, with a progressive extend/retract and auxiliary incorporating constant flow facility.
Steering the Agri/Plus and Super versions is simple with hydrostatic power steering featuring power track rods on both axles. There are three steer mode options to choose from; front wheel steer, all wheel steer and crab steer are all operated from inside the cab using a selection switch, with automatic alignment.
