Allow us to introduce the 14mtr telehandler from JCB. 2.35 m wide, 2.59 m tall and 9,720kg in weight, with stabilisers extended this impressive machine has a reach of up to 8.06 m and a maximum payload of 3.5 tonnes. The maximum lift height is an impressive 12.3 metres and its lifting capacity to full height is 3500kg.
The lift capacity of the 14mtr telehandler, at full reach, is 1150kg, which can be lifted to a height of 12.28m. Reach at maximum lift height is a further 0.46m. Load it up and the maximum reach with and without a 1 tonne load is 8.06m. With the 14MTR telehandler, an operator is able to place goods as high as 11.75m above ground.
Employing JCB’s very latest technology and advanced designs, our telehandlers guarantee low fuel consumption, lower noise levels, high torque and improved power output. You can depend on these machines for total reliability and minimal maintenance requirements.
These systems utilise JCB Powershift transmission, incorporating a torque converter, bevel box and a 4-speed Powershift gearbox in a single securely mounted unit. This telehandler features a steering column mounted switch incorporating directional control and 4 forward and 4 reverse Powershift gears. This machine reaches a travel speed of up to 18mph and benefits from permanent 4 wheel drive.
The 14mtr telehandler features both service brakes and a parking brake. These servo assisted service brakes are hydraulically activated, self-adjusting and oil-immersed multi-disc types on a front and rear axle. A hand operated parking brake is located on the output of the gearbox.
JCB’s booms are manufactured using high tensile steel and include low-maintenance, hard-wearing pads. The Q-fit self-levelling carriage by JCB, finished with lever-operated pin locking, accepts pallet forks and a collection of attachments. Every machine has one boom end auxiliary hydraulic service fitted as standard. There is a safety check valve fitted to the carriage tilt, telescopic and boom lift rams.
Within the telehandler’s cab, operators encounter a quiet, safe and comfortable journey, and the cab conforms to both ROPS ISO 3471 and FOPS ISO 3449. Protected by all round tinted glass and a laminated roof screen, the cab also benefits from roof bars, front, rear and roof screen wash/wipers and a heater with screen demister. The opening rear window can also improve visibility and ventilation.
This JCB telehandler also features the company’s audio-visual warning system which conveys coolant temperature, engine oil pressure, air cleaner, battery charge, transmission oil temperature and pressure and whether there’s water in the fuel. The dash includes the hourmeter and road-speed indicator as well as the engine temperature, a fuel gauge, clock, and inclinometer.
Operators benefit from an easy to use mechanical joystick as well as direct-acting hydraulic control levers and an adjustable steer column with stalk bar Powershift change and forward reverse shuttle. The adjustable deluxe seat provides ultimate comfort with the throttle and brake pedal raised from the floor and an adjacent park brake fitted.
The audio-visual load moment indicator warning system receives a signal from a load sensor on the rear axle, by continuously monitoring the machine’s forward stability, the system ensures that the operator remains in control. The optional indicator lamp specifies when the stabilisers are on firm ground which is a standard feature in EU territories. Stage IIIb machines also feature an operator presence switch in the seat. The Adaptive Load Control for EU territories conforms to EN15000.
Featuring hydrostatic power steering, this telehandler has power track rods on both axles and three steer modes: front-wheel steer, all-wheel steer and crab steer. All steering modes are operated from within the cab by a selection lever (auto steer is optional).
