Installation of CCTV Podiums at 186 Stores of a British Supermarket

One of our largest customers, a  leading British supermarket retailer in the UK, who we cannot mention by name as that would be SAAD, has appointed us to upgrade the existing CCTV podiums at about a third of their stores nationwide. A challenging project which up to press has gone remarkably smoothly. 

Optical Fire & Security Ltd has been appointed by one of the largest supermarket retailers to exchange 194 CCTV podiums at 186 stores throughout the UK. Our scope of works was to decommission, uplift and remove the old-style green and white CCTV podium and replace with the new, modern style grey CCTV podium. 

We removed the old podiums, rectified any containment issues and fitted the new CCTV podiums. Reinstalled the existing equipment and recommissioned so on leaving all was back fully functional. In all a bit of a refresh at the front of the house. 

We have removed the old CCTV podium which has been recycled and any redundant equipment has also been removed to be used elsewhere or again has been recycled. 

The Optical Fire & Security's team are now about a third of the way through the project and look to finish on schedule and within budget at the end of November
